Hi, I'm Trevor
I'm a computer nerd and here's a website I setup for whatever I desire.
If you desire to reach me, please do so at "[email protected]".
Everything used on this server:
The 'server' is an HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF sitting in my grandma's living room.
The Compaq came with an i7-2600, 4GB DDR3, and no hard drive. Got some parts from a friend and it now has 12GB DDR3 with a 2TB SATA SSD as boot, and a 2TB HDD as secondary (4TB total).
The OS is Proxmox with this section of the server on a Debian VM.
I use jellyfin for a home media server on this.
I used to host a Minecraft server, but no one used it so I shut it down after a while.
I host cloud storage with Nextcloud LEMP stacks (I do not recommend, just use snap)
This website (duh).
Status Checker
The status checker is a device hosted at my dad's. An old Sony VAIO that used to belong to my grandpa. It runs almost strictly a python script to monitor the main server's status. I also plan to use it as a backup system for some files but have yet to do so.
The specs are as followed: Sony VAIO PCG-71912L with an i7-2640M & 8GB DDR3 running with a 512GB SATA SSD. The OS is a bare Debian install. The VAIO used to belong to my grandpa so it kinda feels like he's watching over my server for me.
